Vitavia Greenhouses – ‘H’ Strips.

As part of our continuous programme of greenhouse development we have increased the strength and depth of our plastic ‘H’ strips, which are used to connect the glass panes to the acrylic panels on the curved Orion and Saturn greenhouses.

The newly designed ‘H’ strips ensure a firm connection between the glass/acrylic panes and the plastic strip.  The ‘H’ strip has been designed with one shorter edge to ensure rain water flowing over the outside of the greenhouse will not gather in the joint and drip into the greenhouse.  Instead any excess rain water will simply run over the strip and into the gutters which are a standard feature of all Vitavia greenhouses.
